Consultation to inform Scotland’s Climate Change Adaptation Framework

The Scottish Government have issued a major consultation to ensure Scotland is prepared to address the present effects of climate change while also working to minimise the effects of climate change further into the future. The consultation invites views on proposals for a strategic climate change adaptation framework through which the Scottish Government aims to promote a sustainable approach to climate adaptation. The consultation document forms the first stage of a two-stage consultation process and proposes a number of strategic principles for adapting to the unavoidable impacts of climate change.Further information is available from:
