New Courses - AS9100 Awareness and Auditing

AS/EN/JISQ 9100 Awareness Course
What you will learn
This one-day course provides delegates with awareness of the key requirements of AS/EN/JISQ 9100, together with implications on existing established systems. Based on other standards and specifications such as ISO 9001:2000 and TS 157, it will explain how the concept of specific aerospace management systems have been developed in response to the needs of primes and regulatory bodies.

• Purpose and overview of the key requirements of AS 9100
• Impact of AS 9100 on existing international and industry standards and practices
• The potential implications to suppliers and customers
Who should attend?
Any manager or quality professional who needs to understand the role and impact of the standard on the aerospace industry.

Internal and supply chain Aerospace Auditor
A two-day course for internal auditors
What you will learn
At the end of this practical course, delegates will be able to:
- Describe the responsibilities of internal auditors, and their role in maintaining and improving management systems and helping manage suppliers through value adding audits
- Explain the purpose and structure of AS 9100
- Plan and prepare for an internal audit
- Plan and prepare for a supplier audit
- Gather objective evidence through observation, interview and sampling of documents and records
- Write factual audit reports that help to improve the effectiveness of the management system
- Suggest ways in which the effectiveness of corrective action might be verified

This course can be also taken over 3 days which will look at the aerospace context and supply chain auditing in more depth. It can also be presented on site using company documentation and embrace current organisational issues.
