Conflict Management - 4 modules
Duration: 7 hours

The Security Industry Authority has set out core competency training criteria for those requiring a licence to operate in the Security Industry. Communication and conflict management skills will form a key part of the training requirement. The training requirement for Door Supervisors and Vehicle Immobilisers in conflict management is 14 hours and it is anticipated that Security Guards will be required to complete a 7 hour programme.

The SIA specification for Communication and Conflict Management competency training requires the learning to be achieved through practical scenarios, which relate to the real issues faced in the sector.
