All about Plumley - Our Manchester venue

This is our Headquarters and Training Centre based in Plumley, near Knutsford in Cheshire.

Plumley Station House dates back to 1863 and until the mid-eighties was the former station buildings and stationmaster’s house. Trains still stop once an hour at the Station for Manchester and Chester and we even have a daily service to Blackpool, we also have an interesting history even if you are not a railway buff.

When you come to Plumley, if the weather is kind you can walk around the building and gardens. You cannot beat the fresh Cheshire Country air. If you are lucky you will see the odd rabbit and our resident housemartins in the summer.

Our Local Area

For delegates that are with us for the week, do take a look around the village. A couple of hundred yards over the Station Bridge you will find a village shop that sells just about everything.

Whilst we strongly recommend our local pub, the Golden Pheasant, you might appreciate a change one evening. The Bells of Peover, a couple of miles away, is an excellent local pub/restaurant. You may, however, prefer to visit Knutsford. On the “bottom street” you will find many excellent pubs and restaurants. You can even go on the train. Knutsford is just one stop away.

Finally

We always welcome comments about our facilities at Plumley Station House as our aim is to please. And if you are lucky enough to attend a course here and have a good day… please tell your colleagues and friends. Everyone is made most welcome at Plumley Station House.
