BSI has published a draft new British Standard BS 8900 Guidance for managing sustainable development. BS 8900 is designed to help organizations to develop an approach to sustainable development that will continue to evolve and adapt to meet new and continuing challenges and demands. It offers clear practical advice with which to make a meaningful contribution to sustainable development.
This new standard guides organisations towards effective management of their impact on society and the environment, along the route to enhanced organisational performance and success.
Please note that this is a Draft for Public Comment. It is not a British Standard. This draft is issued to allow comments from interested parties.
